In the traditional commodity trading setting, so many challenges are found and which in most cases create the limitations that hinder smooth transactions. Some of those limitations include; lack of trust among transacting partners which result in the use intermediaries, manual documentations that are sometimes riddled with errors and are time consuming, product quality is not guaranteed as there is a questionable quality assurance, Lack of access to trade finance by SME's as they won't be able to access large funds to trade due to stringent and rigorous requirements.
All of these and more are what Kratos tend to solve in their decentralized commodity trading platform, many of those challenges encountered in the traditional commodity trading will be hugely curtailed by Kratos.
ECOSYSTEM AND USE CASE
Kratos tends to enhance and transform the traditional commodity trading by creating a decentralized trading platform that will solve the myriad of challenges in the physical commodity trading for efficient transactions, lower costs and more timely deliveries. This will be achieved by digitizing the whole paper based process through smart contract and thus will provide an end to end solution for entire commodity trading ecosystem. It is faster as it runs on smart contract protocols and blockchain technology and it is also cheap as it runs on a very fixed cost.
BENEFITS FOR TOKEN HOLDERS
Kratos is an etherium - based platform and has developed a Token Curated Registry process for trades submitted through its platform. Trades submitted on the platform for trade finance will be curated by token holders. The result of this curation process will be a list of high-quality trades, which will represent a subset of trades that may not otherwise receive funding.
KRATOS will address the lack of trade finance for SME’s through this Token Curated Registry (TCR) process.
INFERENCE
