After the fork everyone was afraid of, bitcoin seems to have stabilized around 2750$. According to xbt.eu the locking threshold of segwitt will be met 4 days from now on "Tue, 08 Aug 2017 20:18:01 GMT".
So after this storm we went through where the market cap of all coins went as low as 61 billion we might start seeing the market coming back up and meting new all time highs.
Clif High's data says that this month and September will be a very good for crypto and there's no reason not to be good months, segwit for BTC will be implemented soon after the lock in and even with segwit2x threatening another hardfork people have already experienced one with bitcoin cash and honestly it might increase the price this time seeing how profitable BCC was for some.
If you haven't already, it might be a good opportunity to pick up more of your favorite coins; with more trust in BTC the money will start flowing to all coins again.
Crypto is also becoming more popular, celebrities like Mayweather and more media outlets are giving this market more attention which will only increase the market cap even further.
Right now, coins like Mybit are super cheap. The founder of Mybit, Ian Worral, has stated publicly on slack that the project will receive massive media attention from mid-august to september, this will bring a great demand for the token right after the ICO.
