What doesn't kill you......

Hive seems to have bottomed at around 3.7 cents. There was fears that it might descend even lower, and which I felt would not go lower than 3 cents from the 6 cents range it was about 6 months ago. However, this isn't certain for sure.

There could still be a big flash crash, and maybe we'd descend to that range again, and a 20% crash from this price looks possible, but anything greater than a 10% crash would mean that we may have not bottomed.

Let's take a look at BTC, a lot of people actually thought it was going to keep pumping when it got to 80k, but honestly it wasn't going to.

It pumped for about 2 weeks from the 70k range, and since I honestly don't believe that the market is primed for a pump to 90 or 95k, and this is why I think the corrections we've seen for BTC so far is honestly expected.

At the moment, BTC is currently at 77k a small correction from 80k and honestly even if we still dumped a little to the 75k range, I still think it's very fine.

At the moment, Hive is currently not "correcting" with BTC, there still seems to be form of "pump" that's not exactly being linked to BTC at the moment, and whether it's the Koreans or whether it's just Hive going up later when BTC already pumped, I honestly don't know.

However, my bet is that it's actually the Koreans, and the pump is probably going to be short-lived, or will dissipate soon, but let's hope not. Nevertheless, with anything that's currently not BTC, it's actually expect the worst but hope the best will come.

I think any sort of pump is good, pump is pump and sometimes a lot of people don't care where the source of the pump is coming from, but this is actually very wrong.

About a month ago, everyone was busy dissecting why we (Hive) were dumping, and everyone was getting really pissed at the witnesses, at the DHF and all that, but I think people get complacent when price pumps, they don't complain, or talk about making things work for whenever price begins to dump and begin to complain bitterly again when price begins to dump again.

So I think we should make it a habit to invest every pump as well as dump. Perhaps the stats guys on chain can always do some digging too, just like they'll always do when the coin is dumping. Whether it's the Koreans, someone buying up, or the coin just reacting very late to the pump of BTC.

Good or bad

I think the chain really do need some of those stats as well.

However the bottom line is that the market may have bottomed, with hive at 3.7 cents and BTC back when it hit 58k. It makes sense, the timeline may not have actually talied, but it makes sense since the market never actually hit it's expected price points for the last cycle.

This particular makes me think that the market might be topping for alts earlier than it did in the last cycle.

For example, a lot of alts topped in January 2025, which makes me think that it might be doing so earlier from the range of August to December 2028. Again, this predicted is basically from the pattern we saw from the last cycle.

This isn't a price prediction, because that is quite tricky, it's a prediction of timeline and how it might happen.

However anyone who is building any expectations towards 2028 must open up their mind to every possibility. The alt pump might even be more disappointing than the last one, it might perform a bit better, or outrageously better (which everyone actually wants).

Conclusion

However, no one knows at this point, hence. The need to keep an open mind and all that is honestly very important.

As for BTC, well, at this point I'm just studying it, not because I'm holding any (I would love to, someday) but because I want to understand it's impact on the alt market. Whether it's still "BTC pumps, alts follow"

or there's probably something else going on, and the narratives have changed. But no matter what, I hope the time I've taken to understand the market, which is ridiculously better than whatever I've done in the previous cycles.

Again, if you're not paying attention to the market, you should. Make your own analysis, prepare for whatever is to come, prep yourself, buy some coin if you would, it looks really stressful at the moment, but you'll be definitely happy you did in 12 to 16 months from now. I think if you've survived seeing our coin at 3.7 cents, then maybe you've survived the worst and there will now be better days ahead.

Sort:

I think there are good signed with this market move and maybe it is a glimpse how things will uptrend when we go full moon in it.

Yeah, it's a good sign, I think pumps like this mostly signal that the chain can still experience good pumps which honestly sends good signals to investors, users, outsiders and honestly, everyone.
