What is DeFi?
- An Application build on a network - such as Ethereum - controlled by no one are called Decentralized Application or Dapp.
- A financial service that offered by such a Dapp is a Decentralized Finance or DeFi
- DeFi want - and can - to replace the financial services that traditional offered by Institutions, like banks.
- These applications can offer - but not limited - borrowing, lending, exchanging and others, while obeying only to its protocol.
- Protocols are mostly open source so any one can check their components.
- DeFi is a very big and rising market.
DeFi All time High transaction volume
- Ethereum doubled its active Dapp users
- Total volume locked in DeFi is $11.5 Billion.
- All time high transaction volume at $608 million on June 21

- Travala.com has a deal with Booking.com since Nov 2019
- Also, merged with Travel ByBit - a flight booking service - on May.
- Now a new deal with Expedia
- Expedia's - over 700k - hotels will now have the opportunity to be booked with 30 different crypto currencies.
