Professor Cornell University, co-director of the Initiative for Cryptocurrencies and Smart Contracts and one of the creators of the Bitcoin NG protocol Emin Gün Sierer presented new consensus algorithms during the New York Token Summit III.
Sirer and his team worked on the whitepaper of these protocols and acted as consultants in recent months, but the algorithms themselves - Snowflake, Snowball and Avalanche, were directly created by a group of developers under the pseudonym "Team Rocket".
