How I Became an Anarchist
One day, back in 1994, I was browsing in the American Opinion bookstore and I came across a book that would change my life.
These were the days before the Internet when information and books weren’t as easy to find; especially books that weren’t mainstream. The book I picked up that day was The Creature from Jekyll Island, by G. Edward Griffin (#RedPillKing) and I couldn’t put it down. It opened my eyes to the world behind the world and was my first real insight into how the world really works. I read it cover to cover and then proceeded to read 75% of the other books they had and I was on my way.
The Early Years
I had a fairly typical middle American, suburban childhood. I was educated in Catholic tradition with nuns for grade school and monks for High School. Despite the requisite papist inculcation, I must give my high school, St. Louis Priory school, credit for teaching me objectivism and not crushing my critical thinking skills. We were taught to question convention and think out of the box. This has been a blessing for me my whole journey.
I followed in my parent’s footsteps and was a fervent young Republican statist, a member of the Reagan generation. I read the National Review, Foreign Affairs and American Spectator religiously and believed that Republicans would reduce the size and scope of government when we helped them regain control of congress. I worked for both Reagan campaigns and the first campaign of George H.W. Bush.
I graduated from Miami University in Oxford Ohio, and went right into the enter the exploding IT industry of the 1980’s.
Information Technology
By age 26, I was splitting my time between Hengelo, Holland and Portsmouth, England while running the European operations of a joint venture supplying software to the Construction Materials industry. This was my first exposure to the international business community and needless to say, I learned a lot.
I’m 1992, it was time to join the big leagues and Silicon Valley was the place to be. After time at a few start-ups, I landed at Pyramid Technology. They were on the cutting-edge of “big data” with their pioneering large scale SMP (Symmetric Multi Processing) and MPP (Massively Parallel Processing). As a marketing exec my job was to find use cases for these massive systems in the burgeoning worlds of data warehousing & data mining. I arranged partnerships with all the leading software providers in these new spaces and helped Pyramid deliver some of the largest data warehousing & data mining solutions of the time.
At the same time, I was “awakening” and I could see that I was helping to enable the destruction of privacy and create the tools that companies and governments could use to strengthen their control. This is when I resolved to join the Internet Privacy War.
Full Anarchy
Any illusions I had about the Republican Party ended in 1994 with the so called “Contract with America”. Newt Gingrich promised that if we gave Republicans control of both houses of congress, the shrinking of the U.S. government would begin.
We delivered our end of the deal but quickly realized that Newt and the GOP had no intention of following through with their “contractual obligations”. After that disappointment, I resolved to never give my consent by participating in the comedy of errors they present as our political process again.
I had some hope and briefly flirted with getting back in the game when Ron Paul was running but was disillusioned again when the Republican nomination was stolen from him.
While the recent presidential campaign and the rise of President Trump has been promising, I can no longer out my faith in a system I know is broken. I voted for Trump but I was really voting in solidarity with the people who rallied behind him looking for an antidote to corruption, government waste and overreach.
Fighting the Good Fight
In 1998, I founded Global Network Privacy(GNP) to enable secure and private online communication and commerce. Combining strong encryption, complex algorithms, and location masking with our double-blind transaction proxy engine, our goal was real anonymity & privacy online.
We built a beautiful 6,000 sq. ft. raised floor data center, recruited a team of almost 50 developers, hackers and other staff, and delivered the first version of our service.
Timing is everything. Just as we were gaining speed, the Dotcom “bubble” burst and GNP burst with it. As much as I hated to admit it, we had lost the first round of the Internet Privacy War.
Not accepting defeat, I spent the following years in the offshore structuring world helping businesses move to jurisdictions more amenable to freedom and offering better growth and taxation options. By 2005, this market was strangled out by FINCEN, FATCA and other excessive regulation and government overreach.
Re-Building
At this point, I was feeling defeated and looking for some stability for my young family so I went back to my roots. Working the Australia, New Zealand and SE Asian markets back in the Construction Materials industry, I worked my way back. I was a making good money and things were good but after 5 years of extensive international travel, it was time for a change.
I looked for something that would keep me local and eventually I started working in the SaaS space helping companies implement CRM solutions. More time with my family and limited travel made it a good fit. I was settling into suburban life.
Curveball
I believe the Greek philosopher Heraclitus was the first to say “the only constant is change”.
I was always strong and healthy and like most men, thought I was basically indestructible. After all, I play Rugby - the sport of “real” men. Bumps, bruises, aches and pains were status quo but after having a few aches that just would not go away, I broke down and went to have some tests done.
The diagnosis was metastatic malignant melanoma cancer and the prognosis was bleak. It turns out that a small spot of skin cancer I had removed from my scalp years earlier had slowly grown into several large tumors in my abdomen and my leg. I had no faith in the typical western medical solutions like chemo therapy or radiation and assumed this was the end.
Luckily, a promising new immunotherapy drug called Keytruda had been recently introduced. Instead of the brute force approach of the standard treatments, Keytruda stimulates your immune system to fight cancer.
To make a long sordid story short, combining this miracle drug with high-dose Vitamin D and high-strength THC Oil therapy, the tumors started shrinking almost immediately. One tumor was growing into my left femur so surgery was necessary if I wanted to keep walking but otherwise I was able to avoid the more invasive and destructive “cures”. It has been quite a journey but I have been cancer free for over a year now and everything points to full remission.
Looking into the abyss and coming back puts things into perspective. It makes you think about what is really important. I do not wish this experience on anyone but it has renewed my love for humanity, reignited my passion for truly free living and reaffirmed my conviction in our movement.
Round Two
The ability for the Big Tech oligopoly, Mainstream Media, Mainstream Social and the powers that be to track and influence the masses is greater than ever but at the same time, we have never been closer. We will make the existing MSM, MainStreamSocial, and Big Tech Oligopoly obsolete and replace them with #FreeNet.
The tools to bring inclusivity and ease of use to the crypto movement are coming so we can appeal to the masses around the globe that are now realizing that things are not what they appear.
If we are going to succeed, we need to put aside purity and remember that most of us started as statists of some sort, we need to welcome these new Truth seekers into our movement and slowly fill in the blanks. In-fighting will only serve to cede the crypto-space to the speculators, hedge funds, VCs and private equity firms who represent most of the new money that has come in since August. Let’s reach out and welcome in Truth seekers, questioners, gun nuts, patriots, survivalists, preppers, Constitutionalists and lead them to the whole truth.
There are currently two billion people using the Internet. When cryptocurrencies and block chain reaches 3% of those people, 60 million users, we will be unstoppable. I believe that the key to survival and success is reaching critical mass as soon as possible and I hope we can all work together to get there.
We are specifically looking to recruit paid in crypto staff from this awesome community. We are looking for 4 specific roles in the short term and all but the assembly line tasks are virtual work anywhere roles but orchestration thereof will likely occur starting mid April in ACA. We need your enthusiastic support and paid inputs in the following areas:
(1) P2P DApp Development and Tails and Tor Experience. Coders QA etc… We have most of this covered with our core team but I have a big wish list so we want to be able to farm out projects on an ongoing basis.
(2) Guerilla Marketers ready to burn down old MainStreamSocial #ThoughtPoliceNet, replace it with our new #FreeNet, a and recruit millions into the crypto lifestyle. Meme warriors and niche community specialists solicited for a variety of either paid for results roles recruiting sub demographics, or full time roles like manning the booth at the Red Pill Expo in Spokane June 21-23. This will be an ongoing an d expanding need so all experienced red pillers, graphic artists and messaging gurus please contact me.
(3) Photogenic/empathetic Multimedia courseware speakers/teachers. If you look good on video and understand crypto we have thousands of hours of courseware we need you to make compelling and interesting. We need this in all major languages and tailored to different entry mindset. So we need help writing scripts for all these instructional videos and performing them in high quality video.
(4) Assembly line. We will set up final assembly of our Red Pill Freedom Sticks initially in ACA and then clone this model to all target countries. This is fairly easy manual work but we want trusted associates and will pay a premium over current ACA rates to get all the cool kidz to help up assemble and ship sticks.
