During this war between Ukraine and Russia we heard a lot about Bitcoin and how it can help the 2 part. A young 20-year-old Ukrainian managed to flee Ukraine by going to Poland with a USB key on which he had 40% of his life savings, he saw on his key that is about $2,000 in bitcoin. He says that his experience began when he realized that due to the Russian invasion he had to leave his native country and that he was going to need money. It was impossible for him to get money out because the atm machines had queues of people who couldn't finish and couldn't wait that long. Never mind he remembered that he had those $2,000 worth of bitcoin on his usb key.
In conclusion, Poland has experienced a huge influx of refugees from its neighbor Ukraine and has announced that its central bank has set up a conversion facility, hopefully it will also be with electronic currency conversion.
