What are you holding ?

Source

I am new to cryptocurrency and have allot to learn about the subject. However I have invested a small amount of fiat to get some. I also gained some crypto via doing bounties. For those who may not know, bounties are task you complete ( such as creating an article ) for a new cryptocurrency to help promote it. The owners then pay you in cryptocurrency for doing the task.

As the title says, Show Me Yours & I'll Show You Mine
( What currencies are you holding ? )

A list of currencies I am currently holding

Ripple
FunCoin
MRK
SAT
TRKC
BTCZ
BQ
BTC
GENE
Dogecoin

A little background on how I ended up with some of these coins :

BTCZ and BQ both got dumped on me in a Pump & Dump during my first few attempts at trading. Ripple I believe in so I will likely hold what little I have for a very long time. FunCoin is a gambling coin that shows some promise. They have there own casino demos out. Gambling will always be popular so I thought it would be a good Idea to invest into at least one gambling coin. MRK / SAT / GENE I have because of doing bounties. I use Dogecoin in giveaways here on Steemit.

Coins I had but sold

U.CASH
AC3
PGC

UCASH - I made a $1200 + Profit on. This coin shot out of the gates and then flat-lined to only be re-pumped. I got all mine from doing bounties on the project and sold at the perfect time during the second pump for 12 + cents each. They are currently only worth about half a cent.

AC3 - I think this coin has some promise and I may re-purchase if it drops back down to around 20 - 22 cents. One of the better coins I was holding.

PGC - I don't know much about. I was experimenting with trading when I bought this coin. Luckily I managed to break even with it. Which isn't too bad considering I never did any research on it before purchasing.

I want to start investing in different types of crypto, but am not sure where to start.. Could you please suggest a trust worthy exchange to start on using fiat at first?

https://www.coinbase.com/ is one that I use and was recommended to me when I first started. They have four currencies in which you can buy / sell.

Bitcoin / ETH / Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash but no matter where you invest you will be taking a risk.

Thank you, I appreciate the info and advice. I mainly want to be able invest in steem in the long run.

Your welcome.

I've owned BTC and ETH. I currently only have XLM (Stellar lumens) and Steem. I actually bought some Steem when I got into Steemit. I bought XLM at $0.19 so its doing ok. I put $400 fiat into Cryptokitties and pulled out about $1200 in fiat back into my bank account plus left 1.5 Eth in crypto. Thats my stake in XLM. I've never really traded crypto actively. I more just have some crypto to play games with and contests occasionally ;)

Its always good when our games and hobbies make us money instead of cost us money :)

LTC, ETH, NEO, BTC, EOS, TRX, ETN, VEN and a minute amount of BNB for fees. My portfolio isnt massive as I chose to diversify heavily instead of concentrate into one coin but I have a nice spread of coins.

I see a nice collection of cryptocurrencies. I heard good things about allot of those coins / tokens.

Eth, Dogecoin, OMG and XRP. I've been meaning to research Ethlend, Iota, Neo, Nexo and Iota

Nice collection ...
