Hello Steemites and Followers; before you read this post and the material herein please note that I have only started looking into cryptocurrencies and the like for about a week, maybe two... This is purely my inexperienced opinion, and in no way should be taken as expert advice.
P.S. This is my very first ICO review so please feel free to correct me wherever and forgive any mistakes I may make along the way
A few basic points about the herotoken:
- There's already a proof of concept in Philippines; their service is already up and running right now
- They've been at this since 2014, MVP (Minimal Viable Product) was launched in 2014 for the development team to validate their revolutionary online pawn shop
- The purpose of the ICO is to create/generate more funds for them to loan out as well as to enable them to expand to more countries in SEA (Southeast Asia)
- They have already made inways with their planned milestones, with awareness in Japan, Malaysia & Singapore as well as securing licences to operate in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos.
- PawnHero is an online platform where you can pawn items for loans; the system is quite well thought out
With the above you can already tell that the plan for the team is really well thought out, the token is simply a way for them to create more funds through an ICO. These funds will support their plan to expand out of Philippines and into the rest of South East Asia.
Why will it be successful? Much the population in SEA are bankless, thus it is difficult for them to take out loans. In practice many pawnshops as well as loansharks have become the source of loans for many of the people who require the extra funds, with PawnHero available as an option for them it will make pawning items as well as loaning money far more convenient for the public. Coming from a person in SEA, I can concur. We really need this out here
