How many times a day do you find yourself needing to make quick decisions? Probably quite often, but some decisions should be more carefully considered than others.
This year, we have seen Bitcoin rise, reaching an all-time high of $126,198.07 just six days ago, on October 6, 2025. Global society, governments, and market behavior have allowed for more optimism in believing and investing in cryptocurrencies. It is now a reality: cryptocurrencies are here to stay, and work is being done to expand their real utility. The great set of challenges that this entails is also a reality, and one of them is economic risk, which also depends on whether you decide to use centralized or decentralized systems.
These days we have seen a phenomenon in the crypto market, with massive sell-offs. I don't know if you saw the market, but HIVE, DOT, and other cryptos were really at unimaginable prices. The sudden collapse came after the U.S. government announced new tariffs on Chinese technology imports, and the total losses in terms of sell-offs are estimated to extend into the billions of dollars.
You have to learn to avoid FOMO, or “fear of missing out,” especially if you are risking capital that you cannot afford to lose, whether because your livelihood, your home, or your family depends on it. The rule is simple: don't invest more than you can afford to lose.
Take a break, take your time, analyze, study for yourself, and make financial decisions that work in your favor.

Este año hemos observado como ha subido Bitcoin, ha alzancado un ATH de $126.198,07 hace solo 6 días, en Oct 06, 2025. La sociedad global, los gobiernos y el comportamiento del mercado han permitido que se vea más optimisma creer e invertir en criptomonedas, ya es una realidad, las criptos estan, se quedaron, y se trabaja en expandir esa utilidad real. También es una realidad el gran conjunto de desafíos que implica, y uno de ellos es el riesgo económico, también depende los sistemas que decidas utilizar centralizados o descentralizados.
Estos días hemos visto un fenómeno en el mercado cripto, han sucedido liquidaciones masivas, yo no se si ustedes vieron el mercado, pero HIVE, DOT y otras criptos estuvieron realmente a precios inimaginables. El repentino colapso se produjo tras el anuncio del gobierno estadounidense de nuevas tarifas sobre las importaciones de tecnología china, y se estima que el total de perdidas en términos de liquidaciones se extiende a miles de millones de dólares.
Hay que aprender a evitar el FOMO "fear of missing out" (miedo a perderse algo); sobre todo si estamos arriesgando capital que no podemos perder; ya sea porque de eso depende nuestro sustento, el de nuestro hogar y nuestra familia. La regla es simple, no invertir más de lo que se puede perder.
Toma tu pausa, toma tu tiempo, analiza, estudia por ti mismo y toma decisiones financieras que te favorezcan.
