Why invest in digital currencies?
From my investment standpoint, digital currencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Iota, etc.) are another way to diversify our wealth. You don't want everything allocated to just stocks, bonds, gold, real estate, cash or digital currencies. You'll want to diversify your wealth to different asset classes, and then diversify even more within those asset classes.
The digital currency market provides us with a new option to store our wealth, just like when the stock market was first introduced over 100 years ago. As this is a new market, the potential growth is rather insane. At the time of this post, the digital currency market currently sit at $600 billion in market cap... small a potato compared to the global stock market cap of $70 trillion. This will be a multi-trillion dollars market soon enough. Pandora box has been opened, and this market will not be going away.
