What Wallet would you recommend to a newb

in #crypto7 years ago

With the big split now upon us, what wallet would you recommend to stash your cash ?

Being new to all this crypto stuff, I have played it safe with loads of individual wallets, on a raid drive system also backed up on a laptop. with all private keys printed laminated and stored in my fire safe.

It feels like I have gone insane and paranoid with backups and key storage.

Is it just me or do others do the same thing, guess it is all a part of the learning curve of entering in to something new.

In my head the multiple wallets mean if i lose one I don't loose all.

Now to anyone paranoid and insane it all makes sense in my world.

Sorry for my rambling but when i mention any of this to my partner she gets a glazed look on her face and just says " its not real cash, you know" to which I have to remind her of when she said that in 2012. we had just sold a house and i wanted to put 1k in to bit coin. to which she said " its not real cash, you know, what a waste f money"

If only I had not listened I would now be on my yacht in the Med, and she would be in her own house at the bottom of the garden living the life of a cat lady.

but you cant turn back the clock, so we will just have to tolerate each other for a few more years.
