Blockchain market and cryptocurrency mining in it and its demand pushed up the revenue of AMD in this 2018 as AMD products are using a great number of mine cryptocurrencies.
This year AMD has announced its first quarter that means Q1 earning which is 1.65 billion and increasing at a 40% rate by each year.
Then Devinder Kumar chief financial officer of it said the demand for gaming and blockchain market boosting at a 95% rate the computer and GPU markets. And he also indicated on the Radeon products, which are used mostly for gaming and blockchain. And 10% of the Q1 benefit of it was made by the blockchain market. He has also mentioned about the increasing demand for AMD products, which will lead the profit from blockchain to a high range from mid-range through the year 2018.
Lisa Su, CEO of AMD said as the blockchain industry is in the world to lead and stay and there are lots of currencies and applications. Some of them are using second-hand GPUs and there is no problem at all. But who are buying new GPUs are not at all any problem, because these can be bought for multiple cases. And she added that buying AMDs are not for just mining. There are differences in using and mining in blockchain market. Here is the main difference.
Samsung Electronics also reported a 58% increase in operating profits for the first quarter of 2018. According to the company, this growth is due to the high demand for mining chips.

Am glad that the block market is doing well.... It means a whole lot to our bank account
This is bound to be the case obviously and I think the best bet is for other tech giants to learn one or two things from what AMD is doing right.
I love how AMD trys to down play just how big of a factor crypto mining has played for their stock price. As someone that used to buy and sell AMD stock, all I can say is crypto saved AMD and made it relevant again. I am still kicking myself for not hanging on to my shares for only one more year. I will not be surprised if AMD comes out with an actual crypto mining specific GPU this year that is equipped with next gen Samsung memory. And if they do, watch for my video review because I will be one of the first to try to scoop some up.
