The Divi Project is aiming to bring mass adoption to cryptocurrency with an easy to use and understand graphical user interface wallet, there will be a computer staking wallet where users can stake Divi and earn more Divi from staking to help secure the network. Staking is like receiving interest on your money. Insteading of investing a large sum of money into mining hardware anyone can buy Divi and stake coins into a computer wallet that uses much less electricity then mining Bitcoin or Ethereum that uses tons of electricity and is very hard to mine due to thousands if not millions of computers competing to mine the next block of coins. With Divi users will earn a set amount of interest and are not required to spend thousands of dollars on specialized mining hardware. Divi will use almost no electricity as compared to Bitcoin.
Divi will also have a mobile wallet that is very user friendly. Divi will have the ability to have a send to address that is easy to remember instead of having a send to address like Bitcoin where you have a send to address like: 1GFHKijER7890h1245
Divi will instead have a send to address like: [email protected] that is very easy for people to remember instead of having to send a payment to a random set of numbers that is x amount of digits long. It will be as easy as sending an e-mail.
Divi project will also have the ability inside the wallet to have seperate accounts inside one wallet so you can have one account for spending, a seperate account for taxes, a seperate account for savings or whatever you prefer the account to be for.
Divi project is going to have the ability to lock your Divi inside your wallet for a specific amount of time so like a CD deposit the bank holds on to your money for whatever time period you choose. In the Divi wallet you will have the ability to lock your money in it so you cannot spend it for whatever time period you choose it will be locked. But you are not required to lock your funds this is optional.
Divi project is also going to be the first project with 5 tiers of masternodes. Each level of masternodes will have different rewards depending on how much Divi you own. Masternodes help secure the network so this will be good for security because even entry level people who don’t have vast sums of money to invest for a node can join.
Here are the 5 different tiers of Masternodes:
Copper Masternode - 1,000 Divi
Silver Masternode - 3,000 Divi earns 5% more than copper
Gold Masternode - 10,000 Divi earns 10% more than copper
Platinum Masternode - 30,000 Divi earns 15% more than copper
Diamond Masternode - 100,000 Divi earns 20% more than copper
Divi Project will have a one click masternode setup. Previously it has been hard to setup a masternode and require programming and a lot of additional steps to setup your masternode.
I believe this project will be something that is very much needed in cryptocurrency by having an easy to understand GUI wallet and clean look. I think it is something very much needed to be easy for anyone to send a payment and know what they are doing, if it is as easy as sending an email this is something that will help bring about mass adoption. Right now a lot of people that don’t really understand it or don’t know what they are doing only buy the coins that are listed on Coinbase and keep their coins on there as well because they get to the part where it says send transaction and see an address looks like: 1FghjIKLmnopqruzHY890 and are like what the heck is this?
