So Turkey bans all the crypto payments according to a report. Which means that buying something with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency will be illegal soon.
Interesting to see the announcement in a time where big companies like PayPal, Tesla, Visa have started receiving payments in cryptos while Turkish people may not be allowed to buy things with cryptocurrency.
On one part we see giant companies accepting cryptocurrency and on other part we see banning of cryptocurrencies.
Lets see if Turkish government can review this decision or the crypto community in Turkey start a campaign against it.
I am not from Turkey, but I heard that they ban not only the crypto payments, but cryptocurrencies in general, so even having/holding cryptocurrencies will be illegal.
I do not know if it is true. Maybe someone from Turkey will confirm (or deny) this information.
