Well, it is nice to see that the Ethereum developers are continuing on the Ethereum blockchain. Some people don't like Ethereum because of what they believe the way Ethereum is centralized but that doesn't mean that they shouldn't continue to keep upgrading their code, which is good because at the end of the day we hope that they survive.
Smart contracts are going to be a big deal, not just for Ethereum but for the overall Ecosystem.
Any type of blockchain that's going to be using the smart contracts at scale, lets let Ethereum lead the way with their improvements and learn what works and fails on Ethereum and then build it better on something else.
It's good that there is active developer community continuing to improve Ethereum.
Now, these particular EIP upgrades might not mean a whole lot to you but that's okay, then the day it's good to know that they are continuing to improve the Ethereum protocol. Ethereum is a protocol for more applications, bitcoin has chosen not to be able to host many of these types of applications or use cases in exchange for security.
We need smart contract technology to improve, not necessarily on Ethereum but let Ethereum go first and let us learn from what they do.
Let me know your thoughts, where do you think Ethereum is going to head this year? We have a couple of people like the Co-Founder of Reddit Alexis, who says that Ethereum is going to be jumping back up to $15,00 by the end of 2018.
