Growing telegram so that more and more cryptocurrencies can get into the spotlight and actually ID verification is kind of important, specially on the blockchain so that no one could copy it, nor steal it.
The ability for all telegram users to give their private identification, so that they can now invest in scammy ICOs? Kind of seems like this is where it's going but then again what do we know.

But here's one thing that you have to remember, CEO and founder of Telegram Pavel Durov said, that all telegram passoport data will move to a decentralized cloud. Is it decentralized or is it private blockchain?
