Bitcoin Diamond (BCD) A scam or a good investment?

Many of you who are reading this post right now must have heard of the Bitcoin Diamon which is a Bitcoin fork that occurred after the mining of block 495866, generating a new chain. Despite promising blocks of 8 MB and a considerable improvement in the execution time of transactions. And his fame is due to the fact that in the last week he has led the table of the big winners increasing his price considerably despite the fact that the market in general is falling.

But this token has several inconsistencies, especially in its social networks, since its Twitter account was only created in November, it has no Slack channel -red very popular among developers and programmers of the cryptographic world- and the Telegram channel contains only jokes, no serious information about the currency.

In a post published in Mediunpor Bitcoinblooddiamond some of these irregularities are detailed. For example, the domain of Bitcoin Diamond, btcd.io was created at the beginning of November and the exchange house EXX.com listed the token in the interchangeable currencies offer and started operations at the beginning of November. The fork occurred on November 24, which generates more suspicion. It seems that the exchange house was created exclusively for this currency, as a way to convince other exchange houses and portfolios to list the token.

To make matters worse, the team responsible for Bitcoin Diamond remains anonymous: 'Evey' and '007' are the names that appear published on its website, but there is no more information about them, not even in the GitHub computer repository, and there is no published source code.

Although it has been announced that some wallets will support BTD, BitGo, which was mentioned, denied this claim through its official account on the social network Twitter. "Despite the unauthorized use of our brand and logo on your website, @ Bitit has no affiliation with BitcoinDiamond_. We have never talked to them and recommend caution, "the BitGo team wrote.

One of the most direct accusations was that of Ledger, the renowned cold wallet. According to a publication made through his Twitter, Bitcoin Diamond is a scam: "SCAM WARNING:" Several sites claim that they can collect Bitcoin Diamond data, they will steal your assets, never enter your mnemonic on a website of a third party ", they published through the account @LedgerHQ

Even Jameson Lopp opined on the subject, assuring that none of the coins produced by forks are the real Bitcoin. "I do not think Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Red or any other minority are Bitcoin. But I grant that other people can believe that they are, "wrote the developer through his social network account.

This post was made in order to inform and maintain the care of people who live from trading, as I always say this is my personal opinion what they decide to do is under their responsibility.
