North Korea, accused of stealing $ 530 million of virtual money !!!

South Korean espionage services have announced in the Seoul Parliament that the neighboring state of North Korea would have been behind the cyber attack that led to the theft of digital coins valued at $ 530 million on the Coincheck platform Japan, writes Reuters.

This is the biggest concurrency robbery in history. The stolen digital coins were NEM, which allows direct payment from man to man.

This is not the first time that North Korea is accused of stealing virtual coins, but now the damage is over half a billion dollars.

That's because the state is very isolated at international level and subject to sanctions because of its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

Previously, North Korea was accused of triggering the WannaCry cyber attack, which blocked hundreds of thousands of computers around the world and disrupted industrial production.

North Korea was also accused of attempting to steal a billion dollars from Bangladesh's central bank via the SWIFT banking system.

In 2014, North Korea was also pointed to the devastation of Sony's internal network.
