Nexus Earth: Next-level decentralisation

LogoNewNXS4.png

Nexus’s ambition is to provide for everyone global access to a monetary store of value, independent on any centralised mobile infrastructure or financial service. You should be able to access your money without being dependant on a bank, a mobile network or anything else.

Besides some improvements to previous blockchains like a safety net where you can cancel a transaction, could refuse payments, faster and cheaper transactions, Nexus distinguishes itself by it’s decentralised global access and security.

  • 3 dimensional blockchain for quantum resistant security.
The potential rise of quantum computers leaves a loophole in the current blockchain security system, who’s only vulnerable to brute force attacks by quantum computers. By using a 3 consensus channel even quantum computers couldn’t get trough the security network. This 3DC provides 571-bit private keys (vs Bitcoin’s 256 bit private keys), 1024-bit Skein and Keccak quantum-resistant hashing algorithms (vs 256-bit Bitcoin Hash) and signature chains who evolve over time by updating your private and public keys after each transaction.

This also implies that the network is protected against potential 51% attacks. You heard that classical blockchains could be hacked if someone manages to hack simultaneously 51% of the Nodes. Although that has never happened before, Nexus takes it to the next level where someone would need to hack simultaneously 51% of all the nodes, on both the 3 different dimensions. Good luck with that.

  • Blockchain satellite:
Despite sounding fancy, using a blockchain satellite has 3 major implications.
First, coverage across the globe, be it on Mt. Everest, the centre of Paris, Niger, or India, the blockchain got your covered. Using the satellite infrastructure people get global access to the network. Secondly, this powerful infrastructure is more scalable in terms of performance and costs. But there is another, more important implication. The network is build on a distributed infrastructure. Since Nexus’ network runs on their satellites they’re not depending anymore on the centralised internet that other blockchains use. True decentralisation on all levels. Resistant to all forms of external control, meaning that nobody can verify nor compromise your financial activity.
