If kik app become a WeChat of the west, then kin promisses a good future. In fact I am using WeChat, qq, and messenger. WeChat is better than qq and messenger. Also, correct me if I am wrong, qq is Tencent own too.

Yes also QQ is Tencent now. WeChat and QQ are in the same family. WeChat is evolved with the technology. Tencent sees in kik an opportunity of conquering the Western World. WeChat is very strong on the Asian market, but did not became that popular else in the world because of Whatsapp.
