CODEX is a relatively young exchange, but we aim to make it one of the most demanded crypto trading platforms swiftly both for occasional users and sophisticated traders. We are pleased to introduce a new advanced feature for experienced traders — the scaled orders. Currently, only two other exchanges provide such an option in the whole market, which is why it is unique. The scaled orders at CODEX will maintain our pace towards trading comfort and overall usability, as well as the further increase of possible gains for our traders.

Scaled Orders Explained

Scaled orders allow you to spare time, add more agility and speed to the trading. With scaled orders, you can access a new tool for your crypto trading strategy. Using a scaled order is a good idea if you can see the trend, but it is unclear where it will stop. Scaled orders divided into parts and executed at different prices. If the current trade is $100 and the trend is downwards, you can set up a buy scaled order for partial execution on prices such as $90, $80 and so on, in equal or different parts. Scaled orders allow buying or selling parts of commodities at the prices that they’ll reach anytime. This tool also ensures you don’t set a price that won’t be reached.

Finally, scaled orders save your time by avoiding the need to set a multitude of similar orders, and, if they are not executed, to cancel them manually.
