ChainLink is a step forward into further decentralization of multiple smart contracts, especially data and funds transactions. The platform ensures transparent and provably secure execution of smart contract controlled transactions. This process is based on data decision by decentralizing both the data stream and outcoming financial transactions. Chainlink works with smart contracts and transactions on any major blockchain on the market. Being a cross-chain platform, it collects the required data, processes it openly in own blockchain using customer nodes connected to it, and controls the payments fueled by the smart contract supporting both cryptocurrency and fiat payments. This way, Chainlink steps up instead of a closed and non-transparent oracle and controls the correct payment provided by the customer’s smart contract.
The Chainlink token (LINK) is used for nodes payments such as computing powers, data gathering, compatible formatting and uptime guarantees provided. Smart contracts owners pay via LINK as it is a more transparent and reliable form of payments and oracle.
