My prediction for 2018 is a continued and sustained growth for the Cryptocurrency market as you see the Market cap pass $2.2 trillion. This will be the year Cryptocurrencies are mainstream, everyone will begin to know the Market, not just that Bitcoin virtual internet money. With the market cap exceeding $2.2 trillion, it will lead to some very large growth for the Cryptocurrency market including Bitcoin. As it begins to go more mainstream, I am predicting Bitcoin/Bitcoin Cash dominance heads up to the 75-80% range by the end of 2018, as the majority joining the market won't have a lot of knowledge yet.
A 75% dominance in a $2.2 trillion dollar market cap would put Bitcoin at a price of $130,000 by the end of 2018. It also leaves the rest of the CryptoCurrency market with a $550 billion dollar market cap. I extrapolated a few of the top coins below, if they stayed put in terms of percentages, which I'm sure they won't, but it should give us a semblance of the marketplace. I am leaving off Bitcoin Cash because I am not sure what will happen with Segwit2x.

Litecoin: $280
Neo: $135
Iota: $2.20
Steem: $3.25
There's a chance this growth is conservative if the Chinese market comes back. If that does happen you will also see Neo surge into the top 5.

My prediction:
ETH to hit $3000 5 months in advance of Casper release Q2 2018 as investors front run markets to acquire enough ETH to become validators. That's only about 10X the current price, which is reasonable since ETH ran over 8,000X last and year before. More investors will seek dividend paying cryptos like ETH, Dash, Smart Cash ECT. POS will become mainstream crypto or at least hybrid versions of it mixed with POW/POS. POS adds so many critical features to a system i.e. Governance, scalability, voting, two tier verification of consensus, ID if needed, ROI rewards longterm holders, allows more decentralization due to lower energy requirements.
NEO already has implemented most of these features or will shortly.

Smart Cash is a sleeping giant. I have yet to find a project so young with so much development already in place. Dash proves that DAO can work incredible. Smart takes it to a whole new level with the hives concept and smart rewards. This could be a major crypto soon.
