Many big companies are now creating their own cryptocurrency, and many people have begun to ask if Amazon will create their own currency. Or more importantly how they will integrate their currency into the Amazon way of life. Such companies like Starbucks have already expressed their want for crypto, and Uber co-founder Michael Arrington has created his own crypto fund! Proving the push, and the expectation of how blockchain technology will change the world.
A recent poll for Amazon has furthered their want for an Amazon cryptocurrency. With a majority saying they want crypto, and way less not wanting it. The exact percentage points 58% saying yes, 21% saying no, and the rest of people being unsure. So even over 50% says enough that even with the mass of people being unsure of crypto in the world, that there are enough people that see its future. Whether it is the future of Bitcoin, an Amazon coin, or anything else.
It should be noted though, that Amazon really hasn't given any hints, or knowledge that they are creating a cryptocurrency. They've been keeping most of this under rep, but in my opinion I really feel like they are working on something. For as big of a company as Amazon is, they would be stupid to be left behind in the world of cryptocurrency. If they have already not started integrating or creating their own crypto, I can guarentee that there is a very heating conversation about it high up. Just imagine the influence, and money they can get from crypto from the sheer power they have. It could be a huge advancement for the Amazon brand. It would be cool if they came out with an Amazon coin! It would probably fly to the top of the market.
