CARDANO Blockchain (ADA) - What is it?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

What is it?
Highly secured, open source, decentralized platform for smart contracts with a special look at scientific philosophy.

Since when?
Since 2015, so a very young project.

How?
Cardano is an own blockchain, highly secured written in "Haskell".
By store accounting and technical aspects in different layers: Cardano Settlement Layer (CSL) and Cardano Computation Layer (CCL).
The token's name will be ADA.

Wherefore?
To support research and development in the cryptocurrency world.
The most important two facts:

  • "Small groups of academics and developers competing with peer reviewed research"
  • "Fast iteration between white papers, implementation and new research required to correct issues discovered during review"

In general they are developping ADA, as a cryptocurreny that has not the same problems and disadvantages the others do have. This is what the teams says:

  • "Learning from the nearly 1,000 altcoins by embracing features that make sense"
Read more about their philosophy. (There is no official roadmap yet)

I like the idea and their somewhat provocative way of commerce.

I am super excited what is going to happen with this crypto platform. What do you think? Do you like the idea
or not? Leave a comment below.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for all upvotes and comments.
Love, Cryptoleen

Great post. This project was also started by Charles Hoskinson, a former Ethereum CEO, and co-founder.

Thanks for this addition!
