An introduction to Substratum:
Substratum was founded in February 2017 by Justin Tabb, Abram Cookson and B.J. Allmon.
They have the vision to develop an open-source foundation for the decentralized web, by providing unrestricted, and uncensored access to content on the new Web 3.0.
this will be possible trough the use of a network of web nodes (Home computers) which will be paid in substrate,there are also higher payouts for the holders of substrate who run a node.
Substrate is also needed to pay for the web hosting service of Substratum, what will create a demand for the token.
The cost of your side depends on the traffic you generate, that is a great advantage against other web hosting services.
The opportunity:
On Friday the 09.02.2018 a Video was released to the Substratum channel Where Justin Tabb made an announcement, that will bring a huge growth to the Substratum network and the whole cryptospace, when it comes to it.
Next week on Tuesday will a TV interview air on multiple channels what will give substratum probably a massive boost, at least In the short term.
The bigger and more important announcement was a full TV documentary on channels like cnn and cnbc with a range of 60 million houses. The documentary will be recorded on march first, the date when it will air was not announced yet, but if you ask me we will probably see it around June or Juli.
The reason this will be a great opportunity for substratum is the type of positive mass exposure they get which will be needed to provide the foundation of the decentralized web, remember they will need enough content providers and node's to provide the content for the users.
At least the foundation of Substratum's future is already set.
