Lets speculate what crypto mass adoption looks like in the next 10+ years, what kinds of real world applications will the blockchain or cryptocurrency be used in our daily lives? Its an interesting concept because I think blockchain and crypto will be used fairly soon but in forms that most people wont know they are on chain. Take steemit for example, this is an awesome platform that does just that. Many of the less technical writers and users here simply saw it as a place to blog, create content or simply lurk and in tern they are able to earn tokens from the network that are worth money. Some of them dont know how it all worked when they got into it, but as they used it more, there is a the potential that they learned how it worked and have become blockchain or cryptocurrency enthusiasts in that time.
Mass Adoption Uses
- Will we all operate our bank accounts from our pockets?
- Will we be able to choose who we want our social/personal data to be delivered to and maybe profit from it?
- Will our medical records be on chain?
- Will we be able to choose which medical research groups we want to have access to our medical records and we profit from as well?
As of lately the amount of content about crypto mass adoption has increased a ton, ive been seeing it everywhere on social media, blogs and YouTube videos. Just check out this YouTube search for the topic "crypto mass adoption" and look at the sheer number of videos. I think that says something about how close the community thinks we are to the start of the adoption.
