RE: Bitconnect - SCAM or NOT? I will try a 100€ invest and share the experience here!

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago

Let's ask a few questions about bitconnect....

  1. Why don't they publicly address the common accusation that they are a scam?
  • By going on social media to address claims, they are leaving IP addresses and footprints to be traced by the FBI (or equivalent)

  1. Why don't individuals within the company publicly identify themselves (CEO, etc)
  • They need to disappear without a trace to prevent litigation

  1. Why don't they provide some evidence of an actual trading bot. Not how it works necessarily, but who developed it, how long it's been running, which markets it covers?
  • Because there isn't one. The trading bot "trades" person 2's money as payments to person 1

And that's ignoring the obvious ponzi, MLM signs.

My prediction is that the site will close and disappear without a trace at or around October 19th. So make your money before then. That is the date that the first set of longterm investors will be getting their principle back.

Bitconnect is experiencing exponential growth. There's no reason why they'd go insolvent anytime soon, let alone this year.

I do agree with the gist of your comment, however. There's plenty of shady things to notice about BCC. But I don't see that as being any different from other cryptos.

The vast majority of cryptos will eventually fail. Make money and get out is never a bad idea!
