The definition above generally summarizes who a nomad is, evoking the image of this person who roams the earth, with no fixed address. What the definition above does not include is the fact that today, the nomad has gained a bad reputation in today's world, being called names from 'hobo' to 'homeless bum' - and worse.
Add to this the everyday hassles the nomad has to go through to fund the free, adventurous nature of their life - and you have the two main reasons for the creation of the alternative cryptocurrency that launched a few weeks ago, aptly called - Nomad (NMD).
A Decentralized coin - freedom, like the life of the wandering Nomad
Nomad is a new cryptocurrency that promises to make it much easier for the wandering nomad to fund their lifestyle, using a cryptocurrency that has something in common with the wandering nomad's adventurous lifestyle: the nomadic ethos of freedom is very much similar to the decentralized nature of the Nomad coin.

The large supply (210,000,000) of Nomad is ideal and well-thought-out - the nomadic use case is certainly one that requires a large supply of coins. However, one of the most important things I believe this coin has going for it is its large and amazing community - the Nomad Discord channel is one of the most vibrant, supportive, friendly and relaxing you might ever join. Join and pop in and you will see why this coin has a large backing. The coin also has communities on Facebook and Twitter.
Nomad currently only trades on Cryptohub.online - and the word out is that efforts are on-going to get the coin listed on more exchanges pretty soon. As of 10th of February 2018 - barely 3 week since launch - the coin is selling at 48 sats; still cheap for a coin with its potential. Think of the large following that this coin is gradually amassing, especialy among the wandering nomads community but also outside it- and you begin to see the potential of this coin and how high the price could get. Indeed getting in now might not be a bad idea.
