Introduction
I want to be paid for my talents no matter what they are! As long as I have an audience, I should get paid and get paid well. It is already obvious that not everyone will end up with white collar jobs, going to offices daily and working for a salary. At different stages of human existence, our world has changed from the industrial age all the way to the Information age and we have all had to adapt to these changes. For now, it seems it's pretty difficult for the world to adapt and understand that not everyone will work in an office.
So what will happen when there are no office jobs for the creatives? When the world no longer requires routine or manual labor, what will the people do?
What if there was a medium for new jobs in the creative industry that could give some meaning to the participants’ life? Isn’t it nice when people can find a paying audience for their talents and monetize their time spent on hobbies?
Why MDL
MDL Talent Hub is targeting the $2.3 trillion entertainment industry to disrupt utilizing blockchain and PIDS technologies.
MDL (My Daily Life) Talent Hub is an ecosystem designed to make talent sourcing a lot better than what it currently is. The MDL team hopes to be able to achieve this by putting together an all-star and experienced team starting with the CEO who has years of experience in the talent-sourcing industry. The startup was established and launched in August 2017.
Currently, the entertainment industry is said to be missing accountability, safety, transparency, and a reputation system that protects both performers and brands. In view of this, creating a safe and transparent environment for the talent-sourcing segment of the entertainment industry is the main idea of the MDL platform.
OUR MISSION is to create a global talent sourcing marketplace for all type of performers. We are going to facilitate the supply and demand in the entertainment industry and offer solutions to overcome problems in the talent-booker relationship such as lack of a talent/gigs search engine, non-existent reputation tracing, inconsistent presentation materials and a lack of safety. - source
Features of MDL
The blockchain powering the MDL platform is a fork of Skycoin and although it is yet to be released, it should be available to the public towards the end of 2018. The following are the expected features of the platform:
- Semantic AI Search
Searches done on the platform seeks to understand the contextual meaning of the user's query instead of just giving out random results. This helps to provide more accurate search results plus graphics recognition. This could be the first talent/gigs search engine.
- Blockchain reputation module
Reputation statistics are stored on the blockchain where they cannot be deleted or tampered with. The entries (the reputation) stored on the blockchain are also very visible to everyone. Performers can check the reputation of brands that intend to hire them as well as influence the reputation of brands based on their experience with them.
- Gamification
Systems put in place to reward users who engage more with the platform. This tends to encourage more users to do the same, thus increasing the activity on the platform.
- Privacy and Anonymity
MDL aims to be a fully customizable platform where users can choose what to share and what not to share. Some details like how much they earn, promo materials, and event materials could be made public by some people and kept private by others.
- Big Data
Activities of users of the MDL platform are monitored and tracked to a certain extent in other to ensure the credibility of all participants on the platform. These data can be used for demographical statistics after being processed and analyzed, and it's also linked to the reputation system being run on the platform.
Data will be stored in a distributed manner on users' and miners' devices using either IPFS or CXO. This will help improve access, speed, and security of information. Users and miners get rewarded with MDL tokens for helping to store these data on their devices.
Token and ICO Details
MDL Token is issued on Skyledger-based mainnet.
The token sale will start on the 24th of March 2018 00:01 UTC and end on the 24th of April 2018 at 23:59 UTC. You will, however, need to pass the KYC before you can be allowed to participate in the token sale.
The MDL token has a total supply of 1,000,000,000. There will be 400,000,000 tokens up for sale during the period, with 1 token valued at 0.05 USD.
Soft cap is $10,000,000 and Hard cap is $18,400,000. BTC, ETH, Waves, and SKY will be accepted during the sale.
On the first seven days of the token sale, the price of 1 MDL will be equal to $0.03 but will be limited to the first 40 million MDL. From the 8th to the 15th day of the token sale, 1 MDL will be equivalent to $0.04, also with a limit of 80 million MDL. 1 MDL will be back to its normal price of $0.05 from the 16th day until the end of the token sale.
Unsold tokens won't be burned but will be available OTC +10% market price.

You’re right. Our is changing with that also traditional thinking in term of how a job life should look like. I see it the same way creative people should get paid for their creativity, and I believe it will be like that. We are already in this way. This talent hub seems to be intersting.
