Have you ever felt that whenever you buy a coin the price goes down and Vice Versa?

in #cryptocurrency7 years ago (edited)

I have been noticing since quite a while that whenever I buy a certain coin the price goes down and similarly when I just sell the very next moment price goes up. It's rather a very odd but annoying thing.

I would have not been posting this If it was just once or twice but I have been through many a times. And I am not just playing rumors here but I have also heard a few of my friends having the same problem. Just recently, I came across a post here on Steemit the author complaining about a similar issue.

If you look in the following image that I took from OMG-BTC market just recently, it shows the point where I bought and how it behaved the next moment.

I know that a few thousand Satoshi drop is very common, in fact more than common. But it's the pattern that is bothering me.

I am making this post just inquire If any of you is feeling the same or have seen such a pattern. Let us know your thoughts in the comment section.

Update added on 08 Oct, 17: Just another funny incident

While I am staying positive, let me share with you my very next trade performance. I hope it's just a coincidence. This time I am going to post my trade for you. So, that you would know that I am not making this up and have somehow a little evidence to support what I am saying here.

Here we go, I made a buy at 0.00110279 BTC and as of now when I am writing this, Wave is traded for 0.00096800 BTC. on 08 October and the very next moment it went down all the way as shown in the graph below. Again, it's just a coincidence because the whole market wasn't just waiting for me to make a buy so that it could go down. But it's crazy.

It's nothing serious but a funny funny thing that is happening to me.

Anyway, I am having fun.

And here's the trade I made.

I think I am haunted :)

It happens all the time. In fact sometimes you will think the market is just waiting for you to sell your tokens. Because it rises up immediately.

I have done what I promise you on discord minnowbooster server.

You said it. Exactly that's what I feel as if the market was waiting for me. In fact I just some Waves at 0.00112000 and now it's 0.00104000 :)

But who cares,.

Anyway here's for you

Thanks for that.

wow man .. you just yourself some FirePower. :) Enjoy.

You get burned becuz you do not access insider info. Plug into the right sources and you will earn from those who buy

I advise my readers on all this, and not following myself would be a double standard.

I do thorough research before jumping in.

There are absolutely patterns in the markets. They are not all that hard to spot to be honest. Entering at the wrong time means you didn't ladder your buys, or you wouldn't have to worry about losing so much right after a buy. Technique is very necessary to be successful. All patterns will fall into place, and it is your job to put yourself in the best position to profit if possible, and cut losses if necessary. I followed @haejins high impact day trade for VTC today, and am quickly approaching the estimated 36% profit. Fundamental research does not always equal success in trading. The charts talk more than the companies.

yeah, you are probably;y right. I checked his VTC, STEEM posts and I am keeping an eye on that.

It happens to me 95% of time lol, but i'm still learning.
I'm reporting my 30 days daytrade challenge in my blog, come by to see my journey

Thanks man! I have one with the same feeling now. Was desperately waiting if there was anyone with the same issue. I even thought for days that may be Bittrex is tracking me :)

I came from the poker background, so i'm bit used to this 'the software is rigged' feeling. It's a mix of selective memory and trying to externalize guilt. Probably, we are doing bad trades...

Nooo. There is no rigged in crypto...well not as much! What you need to do is get access to experienced crypto traders. Select your trading style then work with your plan. Insider info is a MUST!!!

Well, I am an experience trader. Manager more than 5 Million funds for 2 Years. Is that enough to be called an experience?

The fact that it isn't just an experience but supported by a certain evidence makes it a little weird.

Dont go for every new coin or you will always be caught out this way, sometimes if its a decent coin you may need to hold for a long time before you see an upturn, otherwise you fall into the hands of those who talk a good talk about a coin so they can dump.

Thanks that's a very useful advice. Just curious about the pattern.

Indeed I have the same feeling. Guess it happen that the traders move always following same signals and then the buying switch is triggered always in the same way.

Okay, Now I had got three people with the same feelings. Goodness! they are not tracking me or may be tracking us all :)

Ditto the responses above....and then the question....How are you making your buying decisions? This feeling you have is very common. I have a feeling that you are chasing. Many people have different techniques on reading charts. The user here @haejin is absolutely incredible at reading charts and shows you in videos why and how he came to that conclusion. No kidding, he is dang near exactly correct just under 90% of the time, I did the math. And how does he explain his success? Many, many, many failures.....the absolute best teacher there is.

yeah, I think he's good

It's not much different than say buying stock. It's hard to determine the direction of the price (if it fluctuates), but maybe it's best to read up on news related to that currency and go from there. Watch the trends and hold your ground for now so you can gather more info to better anticipate the direction the trends are leading.

There are time when none of those gimmicks works. And probably the market is going through that. Anyway, this post was made in a light way :)

Thanks
