Why are most of the articles here just link to video??

I may be considered relatively new to the steemit scene, but I do come in with the desire to share my writings and thoughts. At the same would like to check out other writers here on how they contribute theirs as well.

Well, sad to say the current scene is not as what I had look forward to.

Most of the articles showed up under "New" section (especially crypto-related) are just sharing of videos which definitely not belonged to them. And they hope to get upvotes by just that? Seems like lazy effort that expecting random stroke of luck to earn probably couple cents. If it's just video as the article content, please just post them in youtube and monetize it there if desperately needing just that few cents of income.

And if those article is meant to promote awareness? How about putting in just a bit more effort to at least write out the summary of the video content? It would make the readers have the general idea of what they going to know from watching the video, and would make your article looks way more attractive then just the click baiting titles.
