After ethereum U.K. - based cryptocurrency futures trading platforn CRYPTO FACILITIES is all set to launch their litecoin (LTC) based derivate products. Reportedly this service will go live on 22 JUNE , FRIDAY . It will enable investors to have contract wether short or long with collateral of litecoin.
According to the crypto facilities ,the step is taken due to the high demand of the clients for litecoin contracts. This is believed to increase the transparency , liquidity and easy move-in move-out options.
So with the help one futures contract one can basically have a agreement to buy or sell a partculkar currency at predetermined price at a specified time in the future, it would not only eliminate the risk but also encourage new investors.
