CIVIC [CVC]:
What is Civic ?
Civic is platform which allows users to store their personal information like Name, Date of Birth, Passport Number, ID Number etc which are required at many places like exchnges, airports, apps etc. Civic encrypts this data and stores into a blockchain which can only be accessed by the Civic ID. So, imagine you're making an account on Coinbase and they ask you to the personal information, if you've a Civic ID set-up you just need to enter that and done you're verified. It is that simple. How's it diff from the conventional paradigm ?
Not only does Civic makes a one stop place for you to securely store your information in one place but also it gives the user the complete sense of security. Civic used a new algorithm which they call the ChainAuth which is completely different from the conventional OAuth.
OAuth, which relies on a resource server which is the data base of the information and also an authorization server and a third party to validate both of them. This makes them see who you are, which website you're looking at and makes them access to all your personal information in order to validate you.
With ChainAuth, once the data is on the device, the requester can directly access the data from the blockchain verify it and leave no trace what do ever that this transaction ever happened. You can find more info here
Who are behind it ?
Vinny Lingham, the CEO of Civic is the serial entrepreneur who previously founded the digital gift card platform, Gyft, which was acquired by First Data Corporation in 2014. He's also the judge of Shark Tank South Africa.

Why should I invest in Civic ?
They already have partnerships with WikiHow, ShapeShift, Jaxx Wallet and recently announced a partnership with Blogspot.
Civic is also rumored to anounce Civic platform to identify age and ID using document scanning and some major partnerships end of October.
Right now sitting at around $0.30, it's a great buy.
From the technical standpoint, CVC looks heavily oversold.
Final Verdict
With ID thefts being real and the ID verification process being cumbersome, the tech which offers is certainly the need of the hour. With more future partnerships coming up, Civic could see handsome price action.
