I have been thinking to move my coins out of polo, but Im a little concerned about withdrawals, due to the fact i see alot of users on the troll box complaining about waiting times that go for days.

Yes it is hard to know exactly what to do. Not sure why they need to be "approved".
I've no withdrawl issues with polo when using str, ltc or eth. Bitcoin withdrawls (and deposits!) will be long, painful and expensive anywhere due to the network congestion/block limit issue.
