Today’s post is about the project called ZEST (Ticker name: ZEST)! This project is seeking to bring tangibility, usability, and charity to the crypto industry. They also seek to solve many of the problems that most Masternode coins face, including hyper-inflation and lack of transparency.
Zest coin uses a different approach to inflation. Instead of giving Masternodes to everyone on the team, and then having an extremely high ROI which crashes the coin price, Zest utilizes what they call the “smart growth” approach. Instead, they created dedicated Masternode pools, which are used to benefit people worldwide. The Masternode pools are Rapid Relief, Scholars, Accelerated Athletics, Prosperity, and Club Zest. Part of the coins generated in these pools are utilized to benefit their external causes and initiatives. Some examples of what these pools benefit are: environmental disaster relief, medical research charities, subsidizing sports clinics, financial aid for students, and local community projects. Zest coin truly strives to make the world a better place, and to help people in real life.
Zest also features an internal governance feature, in which Masternode owners can vote on different “initiatives” and expenditures. For example:
Zest coin has a maximum supply of 29,300,000. The required collateral to run a Masternode is 2500 Zest, and is limited to two nodes per person. The block time is 2 minutes, with a coin maturity time of 12 hours. The block reward allocation is 80% Masternode, 15% POS, and 5% Zest Foundation. Here is a breakdown of the block rewards:
