How mining works

Users can mine Mithril tokens through Social Mining. Each user's content and social interactions generated in the Mithril ecosystem will mine MITH based on their algorithm.The Mithril token is a token based on the ERC-20 standard established by Ethereum on its network. When you register with Facebook, you can follow all your Facebook friends who are using Lit.

You can chat and comment on users content
You can block users whose content you do not wish to see.
You can easily distinguish the accounts you’re not following.

Mithril Vault

Mithril Vault is an all-dimensional vault brought to you by Mithril team, a keeper for your digital assets. The lid is the seamless combination of the letter “M” from Mithril and “V” from vault — where it opens up to a multi-functional cryptocurrency vault.

You can synchronize your MITH by connecting your Lit and Mithril Vault accounts. After you’ve synchronized both accounts, the withdraw function will be conveniently available to you on the “Funds” page at Mithril Vault. Shift

Excited to announce that the shifting feature of Mithril Vault is officially launched!

You can now easily shift between MITH and other currencies with just a few simple clicks. The first currency supported in Mithril Vault is Ethereum (ETH). After signing up for Mithril Vault, users can easily shift the MITH they’ve social mined on Lit to ETH, or vice versa, for staking.

Now, let’s see how it works!

Step 1
After you log in to Mithril Vault, go to “Shift” on the top of the page.

Click on the arrow between Mithril and Ethereum to switch which crypto currency you want to shift to the other.

This is what’ll you see when you switch the currencies.

Step 2
Enter the number of MITH you would like to shift, and then click “Start shifting”.

For example, if you enter 10 MITH, it will calculate automatically the number of ETH you’ll get in the box below.
In this case, you will get 0.02034330 ETH.

*The rate is refreshed every 10 seconds.

When the shifting is done, a notification will pop up on the bottom left corner.

Step 3
Afterwards, you can go to “Records” > Tab “Shift” to see each of your transaction progress.

Staking

With "Staking", you can lock your Mithril tokens in the Mithril Vault. The more you've staked, the higher your staking level will be, which will accelerate your rate of social mining. The amount you’ve staked will be kept for 30 days, which will not be available for withdrawal. The amount that you've currently staked will determine your staking level. When it expires, the Mithril tokens that were previously staked will be released to your "available balance". You can then stake again according to your needs.
