LUNYR is the future of knowledge sharing where users can earn rewards for contributing and peer reviewing knowledge.
In a nutshell - LUNYR is acting as the one all be all encyclopedia for the Internet. As we have seen - Wikipedia has failed at this attempt by allowing users to update information before it being reviewed and proven to be the truth.

LUNYR is "An incentivized contribution and peer-review system ensures accurate and reliable information."
How and Why will LUNYR succeed as becoming the Ultimate Encyclopedia of the Internet 3.0?
The answer is very simple - It's platform does not just let anybody act as a Peer-Reviewer of content. A Peer-Reviewer must contribute content that has been approved by other Peers and almost build a reputation as how the STEEMIT Platfof works. There is a very strict process for submitting information, citing references, and allowing content to be published.
LUNYR aims to seek out contributors in the fields of education, technology, researchers and the like. It is not made for just anyone to contribute - however anyone can access its information and know for a fact that all information is true.
Take a look at their very well designed platform and layout for the user experience - it is just a tad more updated than that of Wikipedia.

Currently trading at $14.93 with a 1 month gain of +849% I believe that this is a solid cryptocurrency/coin to invest in.

As always: Do not invest any money in any cryptocurrency that you can not afford to lose:

Please Upvote, Comment and Share if you enjoyed this article on LUNYR and how they plan to change the access of knowledge that is much needed on the internet.
I have invested in this altcoin and today I can not find any news about it... It is currently trading at US $5. Was this project a pump and dump?
So essentially an incentivised wikipedia?
Essentially yes - However their goal is to have a 100% rate of truthful knowledge to be looked up, cited, and referenced by its users as a type of "New" Internet 3.0 Encyclopedia based off of the Ethereum network to provide POW and POS.
To be honest with you - The platform design alone makes for a much more inviting user base than the outdated Wikipedia platform - The pictures in the post express how it aims to be seen and navigated - Thanks for commenting @gdreyer - I hope that answered your question - If not check out the site for yourself and read it's white paper for a more profound answer - :)
It's a new concept and not the easiest to explain :)
nice. I think lunyr does indeed have a place in the internet v3 model. it has certainly performed well recently. It remains to be seen whether the incentives are enough to bring the high quality it needs to be the new, more reliable wiki ! I like wiki and for a lot of subjects, it does very well indeed so they have their work cut out.. 100% upvote :)
Hey @outerground - Thanks for commenting and your input - I also use and like WIKI a lot but with the recent "scandals" so to speak of people uploading incorrect info to it - makes it definitely flawed - And with like all projects - time will tell to know for sure if it will become a success - I do love the idea and hopefully they will adjust the Peer-Reviewing incentives to make it a more feasible and less time consuming venture - :) - For now - I am only holding about 5% of LUN in my portfolio - So many great projects out there - It's getting harder and harder to decide where/what to invest in - Ya Digg?
absolutely! I think maybe even a few months ago it all felt quite easy but boom and the gates are open. there are way too many pump dump groups messing up the exchanges with low volume coins so I think to be honest the smart investor has to look at the long game. speculate to accumulate, trade to fade... or something like that. lunyr should do ok. siacoin, ethbits, polybius, gridcoin, etc all have great futures but it's moving so fast, I think the longer term success depends on who keeps up and who keeps running.. steemit is a good example of a responsive community willing to change to keep things moving in the right direction. look at bitfork ! it wasn't a disaster but could so easily have been and if repeated definitely would have been.. smart contracts are here to stay and ethereum tokens should ensure at least one major blockchain continues to run and run !! I do indeed dig.. AM i following you ? no, I am now ! >L: see you on the moon, I've got a couple of shares in that too !
Yeah brother you TOTALLY are with me - As I was writing another article I saw that a comment was made on this post by you - it was Erie almost about your insight into the entire debacle - Please read this post here I just wrote about my recent experiences on POLONIEX and BITTREX - and also a previous post of mine about the Coin Market Cap distinction as well
https://steemit.com/trading/@krytonika/poloniex-vs-bittrex-can-either-truly-be-trusted
Glad ya got a few shares as well on Lunyr - but YEA MAN it seemed like before 7/17 - Crtyptotrading was a whole lot simplier - Maybe these new projects will push away the ones that are going nowhere - maybe they are overpowering them and making it an unfair "more centralized" funding and marketing venture now for the new projects - very frustrating - glad we have great minds on STEEMIT to hopefully address and solve some of these issues because my technical/coding/algorithmic background is pretty much NULL :)
I'll see ya on Moon and then on Jupiter as well
great suspicious minds think alike ! I'll definitely check your article out tomorrow it's late here in UTC but I think I'll be uraa-ing your polo / bittrex insights !
