3 Coin picks based on Fundamentals

1.Ark (ark.io)

There are a number of reasons why I picked ARK,
first off it’s a great coin with a strong future to begin with and I’ll talk more about that later, but It’s a great pick especially now because it had great news; ARK will be available on the Ledger hardware wallet by July 28!
When this news hit the market the price jumped up but went down a day after because of the bitcoin/altcoin crash/dip and therefore everyone forgot about it already.
When the news hits again at July 28, you can expect a pump again.

Now about the coin in general; you should probably read the whitepaper instead because it explains it better but basically ARK is an ecosystem that will connect blockchains using smartbridges, it's scaleable , it has a great roadmap, a great team, active community and you don't need to load or sync with the blockchain with your wallet which makes it so much more user friendly.

2. Siacoin (sia.tech)

My next pick is Siacoin because I think it has a lot of potential, has an amazing team that always communicates with the community and a big community!
In the future we’re gonna need more and more digital storage with high reliability and no central place that could get compromised, a big part of Sia is that the files get encrypted which is getting more popular by the day now that almost every government is trying to spy on everyone and hackers lurking everywhere.

In the digital age we will keep getting more and more data, Siacoin solves the data problem by providing affordable, secure, and private data storage.

3. Monero ( getmonero.org )

Monero is also on my list for numerous reasons, some of which are the same as Sia.
Monero is the best anonymous/private coin there is, unlike some other ‘’privacy’’ coins it isn’t optional privacy which makes it fungible because no one knows what coins came from who, where they are going to or where they have been in the past.
Because of Monero people that hold large amounts of money don’t have their amount in the open like bitcoin, and therefore they won’t be targeted as much.
Privacy is also important for oppressed people in countries where the government targets the opposition. You can see anywhere in the world right now that governments are spying more and more on their civilians and privacy will get a lot bigger and more important because of that. Monero also has an active community that's eager to help new people and there are skilled developers working on Monero.
Also in the future, there are plans to have Monero on the Ledger as well which makes it extremely easy to use and there are people working on a mobile wallet as well.

Where does one safely store monero? Great info. I tend to agree!

The safest would be a paper wallet but thats just for long term holding, I'd recommend a wallet on your pc like the GUI or if you're a bit more tech savy the CLI wallet.

Thank for the quality info. I'm trying to broaden my knowledge of crypto currency and blockchain technology. Where is a good place to start?

There are a lot of youtube channels that do a good job, I like to browse reddit for news and steem is always fun.

Thank you! If I wanted to get in to the development and business of blockchain technology. What Would be a good language to start with? I was thinking solidity.

yeah solidity is definetly the way to go if you want to do some ethereum projects, otherwise c++ should be good with other coins
