Cardano Saturday - Week 8

Looks like the downward slife has no end for Cardano. We bought today at the lowest point since the start of the project at $0.30. I remember buying my first Cardano at $0.03, we'd still be laughing if we had kept it all. Opps! More proof that maybe I'm not the best person to take trading/investing advice from.

I'm no expert and that's kinda the point of these projects. I don't have the time or skill to be a day trader. I'm not interested in researching 100's of coins. I've simply selected my coins and am sticking with them (except TenX...).

Here's how the project looks so far:

ADA OwnedCurrent Price
928$0.30
InvestmentCurrent ValueNet Profit/LossProfit per Day
$499.65$278.43$-221.22$-4.51

Dropped down even lower than the last few weeks. $4.51 loss per day is pretty rough. On the bright side we bought a nice stack of ADA today and should be able to stack up quite a bit more over the coming months.

I still think this is a solid project and will keep hodling for the rest of the year. One day crypto will recover, I hope.

I'm still taking suggestion for this weeks followers choice coin so let me know what coins you are hyped about!

ADA and XLM have both been so disappointing since the new year. Litecoin is the only shining star that I can see. And I simply love DOGE. It's fast, cheap, and fun.

I really felt the ADA price was inflated when we started but kinda though that would balance out over the course of the year, so far that does not appear to be the case.

Sorry to hear about your losses with ADA.

Cardano will pick up though. I think it will probably hit $1 (max $3) before the end of 2018. That could be a x3 or x10 boost which is pretty good.

If financial coins are your thing check out Stellar and Ripple. They are and will continue to be top projects.

Great post, love the transparancy. Take care and have a great day.

I'm not a ripple fan. It feels like it's the anti-crypto cryptocurrency.

I could probably at bit of xlm to my portfolio though.

I can understand why you would say Ripple is anti-crypto. I guess my focus when looking for projects is to try and identify which are going to be around for the long-term. That's probably why I look past the anti-crypto element.

Thanks for the discussion, it's much appreciated. Good luck with the portfolio and I look forward to seeing what you do next. Take care.

Lots of other interesting coins/projects out there so I don't feel bad if I miss out on one or two good ones.

Waiting to see how they implement DPOS on their wallet. My gut feel is it will be back up to around a dollar if they pull that off successfully.

Some profit taking has been going on across the board after the latest crypto bashing slump I'd say.
