RE: Watching the alts today, wondering why BitConnect is down so much, trying to figure everything out

It sounds like you could use some relaxing time.

So part of the deal with Bitconnect today is that it shares a ticker symbol some are using for Bitcoin Cash, which released(forked) today. Some may have accidentally been selling Bitconnect by accident. It's a theory going around anyway.

Timing the market is super rough. I'm having a rough time not increasing some positions right now. I'm actually even debating pulling some sell orders and putting them back in a little higher. Who knows...

The evening is going well so far. I hope yours goes the same.

Ahhh, thank you. That makes sense. I remember thinking it was odd that Bitcoin Cash would be called BCC when BitConnect already used that abbreviation. Now I guess we know it's BCH, "byotch coin" lol.

I am not panicking, as I do not have any BCH. Probably wouldn't be panicking anyway. What I am is deeply curious about this and all the other altcoins. I'm still new to this and still trying to get a grip on all these alts. I love everything I'm reading and listening to about them and trying to educate myself as quickly as possible so I can take advantage of the biggest goldrush of my lifetime!

Thanks for the answer ;-)

Hey, no problem

When I started, I wasn't even investing. I was trying to figure out what the hell a blockchain was. :D

Anyway, since then, I only invest/trade a few of them. If you're holding projects you like, it really won't effect you if price drops or goes sideways.

I think we're all early in cryptocurrency. Some of the REALLY easy money may have gone. But with an outlook over another year or more, who knows where it will all be. It's a little bit of a marathon.

I agree. I am not looking to day trade. I am looking to acquire several strategic positions and hold for the long term. Still, I hate buying things when they've just had a run up. Going to see if there are any dips.

I would say you have better instincts than most. A lot of people run into FOMO when prices are climbing. :)

I like to hold long term, hence my profile name. There are a few blockchain projects/cryptocurrencies I have no plan to sell anytime soon.

With all that said, and circling around to your original topic of this post about Bitconnect, have you heard of Control-Finance? It's a high yield interest program I'm all about. It's kind of similar to Bitconnect, but I like it better. I post my referral link, but PLEASE look into it for yourself. Do not take mine or a single person's word for it. I just want to make people aware of it, should it be something that they may want to get involve in. Here's my referral link to see what they offer: https://control-finance.com/?ref=LongStockSilver

Feel free to ask me question about it if you have any. :)

Thank you - others have invited me to join Control Finance. I am still making up my mind.

Cool. Yeah, wasn't sure if you were aware of it.

DEFINITELY take time to make up your mind.
