Amazon Web Service (AWS) is an Amazon affiliate offering cloud computing services.
The company announced Thursday, April 19 the establishment of a "quick and easy way" for the deployment of blockchains based on Ethereum or Hyperledger networks.
The idea of this initiative is to allow developers to focus on building applications based on a blockchain rather than the implementation of the blockchain.
Amazon creates two types of AWS Blockchain : one for Etherum and one for Hyperledger. Each of them can be deployed in two ways :
By Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) which provides computing power.
By Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) that manages Docker containers on a cluster, including EC2s.
This service is a step forward in the democratization of the blockchain because Amazon is a leader in e-commerce and a major player in new technologies.
