What is Iconomi
Iconomi is a digital asset investment coin. You can invest in Iconomi and it will spread your funds across multiple coins. The idea of Iconomi is to connect crypto experts and crypto trading experts with investors outside the cryptosphere. They also soon offer the ability to manage your own fund and decide the ratio of investment in each digital asset. Iconomi is also safe because they store your assets in cold storage while invested to reduce the risk of hacks. They have already fended off the parity attack.
Pros
To start Iconomi has the first to market advantage. They also seem to have excellent execution of the plan that set forth to complete. The ability to have strong safety can put investors mind to rest and I think the best thing that Iconomi has to offer though is the fact they can make crypto investment easier. Let's be honest most investors are not willing to keep up with all of the coins they are or want to be invested in. They would have to stay up to date on the coins twitters, the slacks, the telegrams, the news pages, and the different exchanges that they reside on. Iconomi bundles this all up for investors, therefore, making their life easier. Ease of use is very important for mass adoption. The biggest pro I see for Iconomi going forward is its allowance for the average investor to make one investment and have that one investment be invested in many different assets easily and safely.
Cons
So there are major cons for all crypto investments and even larger cons for all altcoin investments. Iconomi is no exception. Iconomi could falter due to the ratio of investment that is in alt coins that fail going forward. Iconomi could face the competition of big banks just adding this feature for there customers and just deciding not to use Iconomi. There is also the fear that cryptos could just fail and a vast majority will. As cryptos grow, more money will be at stake so security is always a con in the cryptos world. If Iconomi doesn't constantly adapt to new security protocol then they will be at risk. The biggest con to take away from Iconomi is purely that it relies on other coins to survive.
Conclusion
Iconomi is a great project. The pros outweigh the cons here. Sure they will face a lot of challenges ahead but they are progressing with useful additions to the coin. The new additive of being able to manage your own fund is huge. I personally hold Iconomi and plan to use its new added features going forward. If you have the time or opportunity look into and check out the new and soon released features for yourself. This is a great project and a great way to manage the cryptoiconomi!

I've been keeping my eye on Iconomi - I really love the idea of a crypto index fund.
If it gains traction, I'd honestly point newbie crypto-investors here before I'd tell them to buy into X-coin.
Passive investing like this holds over 40% of US stocks - so using that as an indicator there seems to be HUGE market potential for products like Iconomi.

We spoke about this a little in the last AMA - the number takes into account how the market is appreciating, our ability to attract investors, as well as our talks with established and new financial organisations." - Not impossible that some bigger institutions like banks use the Iconomi platform instead of implementing their own solutions
