Trade Cryptocurrencies on Robinhood With Zero Fees

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

You heard that right. Starting February, you can do away with the hefty fees for trading on various crypto exchanges(read Coinbase). Coinabase has a 1.5 to 4 percent trading fees in the US.

Crypto investors right now!

According to them:
"Robinhood is a stock brokerage that allows customers to buy and sell U.S. listed stocks and ETFs with $0 commission. We believe that everyone should have access to the financial markets and are on a mission to inspire a new generation of investors.

How are we able to offer commission-free trading while others charge up to $10 per trade? Robinhood was built from the ground up to be as efficient as possible. By cutting out the fat — hundreds of storefront locations, manual account management, expensive Super Bowl ads, etc. — we are able to maintain a lean bottom-line and pass the savings along to you, the customer."

The full list of coins you can track on Robinhood is Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, Ethereum Classic, Zcash, Monero, Dash, Stellar, Qtum, Bitcoin Gold, OmiseGo, NEO, Lisk, and Dogecoin.

“We’re extremely selective about the cryptos we’re making available on the platform” says Vladamir Tenev, one of the co-founders. “We’re introducing those first because these are the most mature coins that people are trading these days. Multiple times people have declared them dead and they’ve come back stronger than ever.”

This seems to be a lucrative prospect when compared to the fees on similar other crypto exchanges like Coinbase, Binance, Bittrex etc.
