My way into cryptocurrency

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago (edited)

I like to share my story about how I got into cryptocurrency.

Back in mid 2014 I finished my apprenticeship as IT-specialist, after that I had not right away job so I was exploring the 'new world' of cryptocurrency. I got into the DOGE train and minded for a few month DOGE and a little bit of LiteCoin.

With a new job in early 2015 I forgot about it as main work toke all the time for it.

Last year late summer I had time to take a deper look into Ethereum, as a lot of my friends where talking about it. I was fascinated by dapps. I searched for interesting dapps so I found crypt kitties, yes I played the alpha on rinkeby [proove]. It was fun. A few weeks later it was a boom. It was nice to know men you where one of the first :)

But honestly it wasn't my favourite game.

I found something much better.

My Wealth Map

It's a geocaching game with the reward of Ether. \o/ For get about Ingress (it was fun back in 2013-2014) or PokemonGO (I never played it). This game let you go out, yes leaving the desk is possible, and you will do a little in Game to receive real Ether.

Yes first I was sceptical do they cash out is it worth to play? Yes it is! I received nearly 0.14 Ether [prove the first transaction was shifting my DOGE to Ether all the rest is wealthmap] for going out and collection virtual coins. :D

So may you like to get out and collect coins? read more about it on wealthmap.io. Last month due to the sky rocking of Ethereum the coin value got lower gut it's still free Ether for enjoying the sun the weather outside. :)

If you see no coins around your location as the support they add quickly new location :)

Enjoy the game and welcome to the world of Ether :)

welcome to steemit! awesome nokius

Hey mate, welcome to Steemit! I'm sure you'll enjoy it here, the community is great. I look forward to seeing your content. This is an interesting idea, I've never heard of it before, shame it's not on the android store. It's more catered towards someone that lives in a dense city though right? What are the "mini-games" like?

If you are interested in cryptocurrency, my blog is going to do an overview series of the top 100 coins and it'd be great if you could give me a follow... I've just released my second post on Ethereum but I've got many more to come!

Hope you have a nice day :)

@nathan290595

so fare I saw two 'mini games' one I know by name it's like Flappy bird. The other one is to prevent a pixel to crash with other color dots.

For flappy bird it's 10 tupes for the color pixel / dot game 10 seconds
