I agree with you that NEO is in a bettet position to provide larger gains in the mid and long term versus Etheruem. Another advantage to NEO is the "dividends"gained and paid in GAS to hodlers.
Beyond making profits, NEO currently supports 5 different programming languages for developers to code dapps (including java) while etheruem only supports 1 (solidity which is only used by ethereum devs) this makes integration with normal business more difficult and less flexible. Additionally NEO can process about 1000 Tx/ second without spending $$$ on electricity to. mine while ethereum is closer to 15 tx/s at the moment.
