I am hoping for the best with Steem. I have a hard time valuing coins. Unlike a farm or a business that is easy to see what it should be valued at...say a multiple of its earnings. Most crypto coins that I know about don't produce exactly. However, I can see some value in Steem/Steemit.

Sometimes it does seem very intangible but a store of value that can be easily moved through transactions has some way of making profits. (Banks?) Maintaining a public ledger does have some value too, in fact I think there is an entire occupation that specializes in the this - bean counters? LOL. Oh, maybe accountants or bookkeepers is more PC. Well, the point I'm trying to make is there are some basic business models attached to blockchain technologies besides just a store of value.
I'm hoping the best for Steem too, it does seem to have a lot more direct correlation to something of more tangible value.
