What is Telcoin?

Telcoin is a new cryptocurrency based on the Ethereum blockchain that will be distributed by your national telecom operator and made available to everyone, anytime, anywhere. This is the core of our business, and mobile network operators will be at the center of our strategy.

Telcoin will be a new way to transact in cryptocurrency, with your phone as the wallet. Telcoin will be distributed through your service provider, meaning that the user never needs to even know what the blockchain is to be on it!

Instead of having to use a long wallet address, users can send each other payments simply by knowing the phone number of the recipient.

This will also have a big impact on how tourists spend and manage their money. Telcoins are going to be an international mobile phone based payment method. Wherever a user travels, all they need is their phone, loaded with Telcoins.

Telcoin will bring banking to populations that have a developed mobile market, but are still under-served when it comes to banking. There are 2 billion people who currently do not have a bank account. The population of adults with telecom services is almost 5 billion. The overlapping portion of the population that has mobile services but does not have access to a bank account will be able to access banking services through their phones.

The Basics.

Telcoin will act as a partner with mobile operators. The operator would then, liquidity allowing, act as an exchange for Telcoins with its users. If the operator needs to increase their Telcoin balance, they would exchange with Telcoin! If the operator has a balanced amount of buy/sell orders, they can simply use their own liquidity to exchange with their user base.

thanks @college-is-dumb.. it's not recommended to put links to your posts in a contest thread. This is for articles about Telcoin. You will most likely get flagged for spamming. Looking at your rep of 8, I'm guessing this doesn't seem to bother you. However if your rep falls any lower, you and your posts will begin to disappear from view. Why don't you submit an article about Telcoin instead? You never know, you might pick up some upvotes, new followers & or a prize !

Please stop posting so often on obviously plagiarized posts. There has to be a way for your bot to do a better job of figuring out which posts are clearly not original.

As with every contest, some carefully read and take part, some just take part, choosing to do things their own way, post on what interests them, and then they wonder why they failed.

Good luck for the Participants..!!

I edited misspelling of telcoin its fixed now!

Sounds like something that could be a game changer -the easier it is for people to use crypto - the sooner it will adapt.

good post

Semoga sukses untuk semua kontestan

Not gonna miss this time!

Wow, I pray I meet this deadline.

Is the etherium network not already overloaded with too many transactions?

Sharding!

The ETH blockchain is still overloaded to the point that transactions are taking upwards of 30-40 minutes (depending on the fee) due to PoW restrictions. Sharding might mitigate some of this but there are still going to be long transaction times for major transactions thus slowing the entire system down.

Interesting point. Do sub chains, which have locked up eth, require the same bandwidth for transactions?

Thank you for adding value by letting us know this! I have eth, but I mostly just hodl it.

I do not believe they do for internal transactions and just for anytime they have to directly work with the etherium blockchain. It truly depends on how they make the sub chain work, for instance if they hold it under a single Etherium address and then have arbitrary coins to pass around then it will only have interaction with the etherium blockchain when someone cashes in or out. However there rises another problem which is that a system based upon the Etherium blockchain would run into the same eventual problem of too many transactions (especially with teleoperations) and would inevitably slow down rapidly from having too many transactions.

Every blockchain design comes with pros and cons and considering they have relatively little information on the structure of the blockchain, it would be stupid to make specific predictions. I will keep looking for it but I am not entering the contest. By the way, structure information is on pages 15 to page 18 and they do say that they use PoS not PoW and how transactions work (kindof) but it looks really... iffy.

Nice post, keep the steem burning
