I have a friend here in town that's also investing in crypto, we've been trying to get together to share some information about what we've been hearing and doing in the space.
We decided to try to recruit a few others and try to put outr minds together. So he created this meet-up group and we had our inaugural meeting today!
It was only us still but I expect others will find us and we already have one other person interested.
Of course most of what I had to talk about today was steem. I've been most excited recently about the airdrop of VICE, Appics and now WIRE that I just read about here. I can only hope this continues and all the more reason to be holding steem. The second coin I am excited about is smart cash and just waiting for a bit more market movement to get my first 1-2k and sign up for some smart rewards.
He hasn't been investing as much but told me about this ICO here bnktothefuture. Not sure if im going to jump on this thought, I'm have a few ETH put aside that I'm waiting to use for the VICE ico that I'm very interested in.
Anyways it was a good first meeting and love learning more about the crypto space, and it's always good to leave the house.

VICE is pretty much exactly steemit for Porn, but the content is coming from legit adult entertainment companies.

Does VICE have a hard cap? I remember losing faith in them when they kept extending the ICO... seems they didn't want the money gathering to ever end. I'll look into those other two. Thanks for the post, buddy.
Yeah, they have a cap, I believe it's 3 billion, with a market cap of 150mil, then they will add the last 1 bil as rewards just like steemit.

It's also really cool that you found other people locally to spread the word about different crypto coins and their potential(s). How do you feel about using Litecoin?
Yeah, we're not a huge town, about 100k population, but hopefully the idea catches on and we get more people. I like using LTC for transactions, but I'm really no expert.

I'm Just looking for other personal experiences with LTC.
For me, Litecoin transactions have been the fastest and cheapest so far (besides using steem), I have sent a few transactions with other cryptos to Blocktrades to compare them in simmiler situations just to see the differences. I'm trying to find the best cryptos for daily use transactions, and not just investments. Although there are several good cryptos for long-term investing too.

Yeah, alot of people really like it for transactions like that, but it's just not as widely accepted as BTC or ETH unfortunately.
Have we heard anything else on the Airdrop for VICE? How are we going to hold them? do we have to give out a ERC20 wallet address?
Nothing new yet actually, I'm not sure there going to drop the proxy tokens or just wait till they have there full chain running.
